About

Hi, my name is Benjamin.

I’ve been in IT since a long time. Saw the world wide web take birth when I was 12. There are not many things about IT that escape my understanding (maybe some things about quantum computing or deep technicalities about artificial neural networks, I’m more a symbolic guy).

I’ve been a researcher in academia working in data extraction and integration.

I’ve been a software developer in Java, Kotlin, Perl, C++ (among many others)

I’ve been a CTO of 109Lab, one of the many small startup’s that didn’t make it. Would have needed more time and money.

I’ve been CEO of my own company Boot-Start, delivering IT services to startups, but that’s niche market without much liquidity.

I’m a father of 4 kids, older brother of 5 siblings.

I’m multi-cultural, Swiss-American at birth, lived in France and first married a French woman, and now am married to a Spanish woman.

I speak French, English, some Spanish, a little German and ear for Italian.
